In this class you will learn a fundamental technique for wireworking. That is, how to construct and chain together wire-wrapped loop components. You will learn how to make consistently sized and neatly wrapped beaded wire-wrapped loop components that you will chain together to create an 18 inch beaded chain. This is a great project for using up a stash of left-over beads; the wire-wrapped loop components work as the element to tie together a mixed supply of beads. Important design considerations, when choosing to make a chain with wire-wrapped loops, will also be discussed. Beacause you are making an 18 inch long chain, you will spend MUCH time practicing this technique with the guidance of a LIVE instructor. All the tools and materials you need, to make this necklace, will be provided for you. Plus you will get a detailed instructional booklet, filled with over 40 step-by-step color photos, to take home with you. The necklace pictured is just a sample necklace. You will get to choose from a variety of unique stands of beads to create the necklace that fits your style. You will also be given a 6 foot coil of copper wire for practice and 6 foot coil of sterling silver wire to use to make your necklace. If you prefer 14k gold, then a 6 foot coil of 14k gold-filled will be available for an additional $15.
