Basic Wire Skills

Learn some basic wire techniques such as wire wrapped loops, and creating shapes to use for links and clasps. You will make a bracelet or necklace out of plated craft wire or copper wire and beautiful lampwork beads. Wire gauges, tools, hammering, and cutting are covered in this 2 hr session. All tools and materials are provided for the class, but you should bring magnifiers (glasses, visors, etc. ) if you have them.
Beads And Balls Bracelet

This bracelet incorporates gemstone balls or pearls in strips of beaded herringbone stitch. The strips are worked and connected at the balls or pearls. It can easily be made by a beginning beader. This is a great project to learn the flat herringbone stitch. It is a fast project and could possibly be finished in the class.
Byzantine Bracelet

Learn the fundamentals of chain maille. In this class, you will learn the techniques for opening and closing your rings properly, as well as learning the byzantine weave. You will be working with silver filled jump rings - the best alternative to Sterling Silver for chain maillers. A selection of silver filled box clasps will be available for you to choose from. The clasp is included in your kit fee. Get ready to walk away with a stunning `wear it everywhere` bracelet. All tools are provided during class, and are available for sale after class. Additional rings will also be available for sale in copper, and silver filled.
Floating Islands Bracelet

This bracelet features 3 diamond shapes worked in brick stitch. The shapes are connected with twisted strands of seed beads that are unique in the way they are created. It can easily be made by a beginning beader. You will learn the brick stitch and the twisted connecting technique.

This Beaded Bead is quick and easy! Use of the Bugles around a `focal` bead with the daggers hanging down is a real conversation piece. It can also be reduced down to make ear rings to match. Soldering For Beaders

If you have had trouble with your jump rings or split rings remaining closed and secure, this is the class for you. Learn to solder using a soldering iron and your troubles will disappear! All tools and supplies are provided for the class but you should bring magnification (glasses, visor, etc. ) with you if you have it. Equipment will be available for sale after the class.
Stamping And Coloring Metal With Inks
