Biography
Firefly Design Studio features the art of Michelle McCarthy. Michelle specializes in hand-building pottery techniques. She uses many textures, colors, shapes and styles when creating her whimsical pieces. She started her love of pottery by making more traditional pots, mugs, platters and wall decor. Jewelry has always been fun, so it was a natural transition to start making smaller pieces, like beads, pendants and findings. Now Michelle is specializing in unique jewelry creations. You can collect Michelle's artwork here online and at many art, craft, bead and jewelry shows throughout Florida. Take a look at the calendar and come visit her and her "assistant", Mom Sandy.
